It's funny that people won't get off that Black Sabbath was NOT the 1st metal band. This song has definite Heavy Metal in it(This group was from Georgia I believe) and Blue Cheer was Heavy metal 2 years BEFORE Sabbath came out! @Bater Yeah I never really thought of Helter Skelter as a Metal song either. I mean no one wants to call Blue Cheer a Metal band in here for whatever reason but they say Helter Skelter is Metal! Heck Blue Cheer did a Speed Metal song on their second album and that was before Sabbath as Well.
