If you're willing to do it on-line, start hitting the techie sites and second-hand surplus sites. You also have the option of hitting the auction sites and "for sale" sites.
If you're not willing to do it on-line, see if you can find a refurbisher / reseller in your area.
In any case, if you're looking for new brand-name memory ... make sure you buy the right memory, nach ;) ... do some research, then order from a local dealer. Might have to make it a special order.
