His mess, let him clean it up..... Wipe, wipe, wipe, rinse, rinse, rinse.....

I would get out the shop (wet/dry) vac and first vacuum out all the water and bubbles out of the dishwasher and on the floor. Then I would mix me up a sink of vinegar water and wash out the dishwasher. Then I would run it through with vinegar added to it. If it gets too sudsy I would turn the dial to drain and drain out the water and start over. You will also have to mop the fooor using vinegar. Don"t be too hard on your husband as a lot of people do this same thing..He will know better next time and you will end up with a clean floor.

Get the MOP, then add vinegar to the dishwasher and run through the cycle again this should tame those nasty bubbles (use several cups) Been there my husband did this too...write this on a postcard, put in a box as with all things similar to this event, open on New Years day and enjoy the laughs...GOOD LUCK

You just have to keep running the cycles until it gets flushed out. It makes a big mess but shouldn't ruin your dishwasher.

oh he did one of them you should be happy that he never put tide in it. Now you just have to clean up the bubbles and flush the washer by running it through a rinse cycle, but first get all the water you can get out of it with the hand soap in it. I know what kind of mess you have because my daughter put tide in ours and it looked like a foot deep snow in the kitchen . Good luck

Get your spouse to buy a new dishwasher, a top of the line, even.

Its his mess and tell him to clean it up and then you leave and go visit a friend. Call him and ask him if the bubbles are gone and is it safe to come home to a bubble free kitchen!!!

I'd get me some defoamer for spas, etc..... and that should take care of the problem. Might have to run a second cycle..... but just rinse and drain should clean up all that suds........
