For two pages, you probaby want about 5 subtopics, which might be:
1) Definition of an orchestra, compared to a band, wind ensemble, string quartet, jazz combo. What makes an orchestra an orchestra.
2) How a conductor conducts (talk about his score, which contains the music for all of the instruments)
3) the different TYPES of instruments, and what differentiates them (woodwinds, strings, brass, drums, etc.)
4) Requirements to parcipate, like how much time you dedicate in school, after school, practicing at home, etc.
5) your favore instrument, or your favorite performance that your orchestra has performed, and why

Okay. Two pages is not that long. When I was in undergrad psychology as a major...I usually wrote 10-20 pg papers.

Talk about the personal qualities it developed in you. Such as, the discipline required to be in orchestra .... the attention to small details .... working in harmony .... etc.
