I know i am i just found out about him having cancer they dont know what kind it is and thats why he has blonde hair and thats why its short i cant believe it its so hard just to think about no more My Chemical Romance gosh its going to be a very very sad day when he passes but i know this much Gerard Way will never ever be forgotten!!

He cut his hair short and dyed it for the new album. He was going for the "patient" look. Not because he has cancer. He wrote the song because he has been affected by cancer. Probably someone he knows has/had it. He would have no hair if he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Also, it really pisses me off that people seem to be making a joke of cancer. Whether Gerard had it or not. It's no laughing matter. People suffer. The person who has it and their loved ones who have to watch their agony and pain. It's not something I would wish on my worst enemy.

Wow.
He doesn't have cancer...just because he writes a song about it doesn't mean he has it. He wrote the song to help people who were going through this horrible disease, or their loved ones, not for himself.
P.S. Cancer doesn't make your hair blonde honey...

Getting cancer doesn't shorten your hair or make it go blond. He just got it cut and bleached.
