A pregnancy tests checks hormonal levels. Intercourse won't interfere with the hormones that develop during pregnancy. If she wants the best results of the test she should try it in the morning when her urine will be more concentrated and carry more trace of any hormone. If it's still negative, she's probably not pregnant.

no sexual intercourse should not change the results because the test is looking for a certain hormone found in the urine. the best time to take one though is with ur first urine in the morning. but if u guys think she is pregnant, why not just go to a clinic because if she is early prenatal care is so very important. when was her last period? and how long has this been going on?

The test stick changes colors due to hormones in the urine. I don't think you can do anything to effect it. However, if she took the test in the afternoon there is a greater risk of having a false negative due to diluted urine. If you are still unsure get another test and have her take it first thing in the morning - that will give you a more accurate read.

Nope. The whole thing about a pregnancy test is that it detects the hormone in your urine that is only present when a girl is pregnant. This happened to me like four days ago and it might just be signs of PMS. Id advise that she take another test in a week just to make sure...

Absolutely not. Wait until she's missed her period and then test again. If that one's negative, she's probably not pregnant. If her period doesn't come in a week or two, she'll need to see her doctor.

no it can not. pregnancy shows up in the urine...and unless you went in her it shouldn't interfere. but try it again in 3 days and buy an ept test its the best one. i like it....but if your unsure then do it agian in 3 to 4 days

you are worried about pregnancy, yet you still had sex?! god help you. take a HPT in the morning, first thing. then pray it isn't positive, because i don't think you can handle it. wear a condom.
