I heard you should not sit them upright. Anybody knows why? Is the bouncer ok?

Yes a bouncer is fine and is a lifesaver sometimes. I have never heard about not sitting a newborn upright! As long as they are always assisted so their head doesn't fall. Congrats on the new baby!

the reason why u shouldnt sit them upright is because they can puke up all thier milk lol , but when they start showing some head control u can use recieving blankets and prop the baby up in the bouncer seat, its good for them to be upright it helps strengthen thier muscles.

you are not supposed to sit the upright for one as their heads are so large they cannot hold them up and will fall forward perhaps injuringing themselves, a bouncer or car chair etc, is ok as they are usually in a reclined position and this is fine.

no to any bouncer for an infant. They usually can partially sit up at 6-7 months.
