this same question was asked before and here is the best answer given.
Yes, if your computer had a DVD drive in it, and if your computer is fairly new. It doesn't have to be really new, as long as it doesn't have some old 300 MHz processor in it. Even then it might work, but I don't think so. My comp runs DVDs fine with a 800 MHz processor in it, we also have 640 MB of memory, a bit of memory helps your comp with everything, including DVDs, but you probably don't need that much.

Make sure your computer is equipped with the right software. Newer computers already come with it usually. Old computers may require you purchasing software. Go to BestBuy or Circuit City and ask. Also, make sure you put the DVD into the right drive. Some computers have DVD drives separate from CD drives.

... and wmp does NOT support dvds unless u buy the pluggin .. some retail machines come with it already i suspect and maybe thats why people think it does by default ... u need a hardware player, a software player, and u need to go to the drives properties maybe and set what the default action is when u insert a dvd ... if u dont have a software player and dont know how to pirate or dont want to buy one, then download dvdshrink and open the dvd in it after u put it in ur drive ... u can watch the movie then from its preview window and click it full screen ...

"Actually this is the only legal service i could find that offers unlimited movie downloads for a one time fee and without any recurring billing . I tried several other websites that offered "millions of movies" and all of them sold me some kind of P2P client with access to pirated movies (which is illegal to use and the software itself is free in the first place). I am thankful for your site and just wondering how come there are no other services like yours online"

Well check first if you have windows media player. If you cannot find it then go to the start menu on your computer and press My Computer. Now when you get there click on the E Drive. Or the movies name will be right there, double click on that. And if nothing comes up then right click on it and click on the thing that says Open With... and it gives you a list of options that you can open it with, some may be: windows media player, quicktime player, real player, roxio, media center, cine player, and possibly musicmatch and iTunes. I hope that helps!

WMP (Windows Media Player) does indeed play movies. You may need to reinstall WMP or make sure that you do indeed have a DVD drive to read the disc.
