I got a new ipod nano today and I am wondering how long it takes for them to charge? So far it seems like it has been forever and I am wondering how much longer it will take.

I think the first time you charge it, you're supposed to do it overnight and then u can do "half' charges. I heard it was good for the battery. (???) I would charge it at least 4-5 hours if it's on empty battery though.

Second gen nano: About 3 hours (1.5-hour fast charge to 80% capacity)
The little "lightning" icon will change to a "plug" icon when it's done.

yes it does take a really long time the first time you charge it. it seemed like forever to me to and i thought it wasn't working.

it takes about 2hours to charge coz thats how long mine takes
