My daughter born October 17 has slept from 10pm-5:30 or 6am since she was 5 days old. Over the past 2 or 3 nights she has been increasingly fussy at night and during the day (she never ever fusses), shes drooling a ton, theres 2 small white spots on her lower gums in the middle and when I was feeling them she dropped her jaw and started smiling as I rubbed her gums like she was relieved. Is this possible??? What can I do to help her?

it is entirely possible as it has been documented that babies have been born with teeth.

It is quite possible, but the teeth do come up & go down again numerous times before they usually break through. Sterislise, something small, but not too small (teething ring - if you can get one small enough for her little mouth), as she is looking for some relief, hold this for her and let her munch away on it. You little girl might only go through this for a bit and then she will be back to her old safe again, just keep rubbing her gums if that gives her relief. Be careful giving her anything, cause she is still very young and alot of things you shouldn't give them till at least 4 months.

You can buy some Orajel teething medicine for babies. Give her a teething ring but first put it in the refrigerator for like 20 minutes or until its cold enough to soothe her gums. You can also wet a wash cloth with cold water and put it on her gums. Good luck!

Yes, your baby could be teething. Babies can start to get teeth in between 2-7 months. To help ease her pain, give her teething rings (you might have to hold them for her if she hasn't master grasping yet) and you can use baby Tylenol or my favorite, Hyland's teething tablets, to ease discomfort. Once the teeth break through the gums, she should stop fussing so much.

yes it is possible. drooling alot is one of the big signs that babies are teething. you can try to give her baby motrin for the pain or just keep doing like you have rub her gums every now and then. but she will be fussy when those teeth come in!!!

this is very possibly as she is probably too young to hold a teething toy to her own mouth try holding it there for her and gently rubb it on her gum, this really helps also panadol works on weight not age and so she may be very welll able to have panadol at night to help her settle, i went through exsactly the same with my son in fact sounds identical so dont be worried they go back to old sleeping patterns a soon as tooth breaks through also my son always gets his teeth in 2's so that my be contributing to her discomfort. Good luck

Get her some baby oral gel. And if she is teething, then you need to get her to the doctor, be they are going to have to remove those teeth. They will also be able to give her something to sooth the pain.

she is definitely teething! you can buy plastic teethers to freeze and let her hold them in her mouth. She sounds like a cooperative little girl!!!!
