I will be having Verizon Fios installed soon. I have to make a choice of MSN or Yahoo being my home page. Since I already use Yahoo as my email I thought I would go with the Yahoo option. Can anyone give me any reason why I should go with MSN. I have IE7 and did read about some problems with trying to get rid of the MSN home page.

Got FIOS a couple of months back. Compared Yahoo! and MSN and settled for MSN because of premium Encarta content. However, have not used the Encarta feature yet.
It is very easy to change your home page to any page.

I have Verizon FIOS and they set my home page to http://start.verizon.net/ I promptly changed it to Yahoo as I have always had Yahoo as my home page. They have everything just a click away - my favorite catagory is Odd News found under the News section. Also, since you have yahoo mail you can see the number of new messages displayed on the home page.
To reset your home page if you are using explorer - Click TOOLS - Internet Option - Home page and type the URL you want to set as your home page and then click OK or go to the page you would like to set as your home page and then Click TOOLS - Internet Option - then click Use Current under the home page section.
