I don't like it. Genesis isn't feminine or cute at all. I also agree that no one will realize the correct way to pronounce Lanee. Why does everyone try so hard to come up with these odd ball names?

When I read the name Genesis I think of penis and Lanee seemes better pronounced Lay-nee

very unique, but Lanee will NEVER be pronounced Lanay.. it'd be Lanee (long e) every time.

My cousin named her daughter Genesis. She's 4 and I still don't like the name very much.
