well lets see I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 20 so I don't really see it as a problem (atleast not due to age)

The law says nothing about a dating age.
The law does have provisios for statuatory rape. This is when there is consentual sex, but one of the parties is under 18 (or the age of majority). This varies from state to state and W. Virginia has an age of majority set at 16.
I think as long as you are being treated well - go for it. While it may be hard for society to accept at this time in five years it will be a nonissue. As long as your parents like him and let you two go out, what is the problem?
From my experience it'd be wise to put off sex for now. Since you still have a few more years of school a pregnancy could really mess you up. And, getting a GED requires night school and a similar commitment to high school...which is why a lot of dropouts just don't get the GED.
I wish you both lots of luck! And, happiness!!

four years will not be a big age difference when you are in your twenties. I don't see why you can't have a respectable relationship now, but I would keep sex out of it for as long as possible. Also keep in mind that you are still learning what you are looking for in a relationship, and haven't had a ton of experience yet (hopefully). Don't make any long term comittments because you are both changing a lot right now. You already know to be careful. Follow your own instincts, but don't ignore the advice of your parents and trusted teachers.

By law anyone 18 years of age or older may not date anyone under 16, im sorry dear but that is the law and if he is caught datign you he can get into a lot of trouble...My little sisters friend is 15 and has been dating a 18 year old for the past few months and it got back to a police officer who told the boy if he was caught with her again he would be arrested.
I really suggest you break up and wait till your 16 to date him to be on the safe side but note once you hit 16 you guys are not out of the woods. By law he can not have sex with you until you are 18, if he sleeps with you before then it can be considered staturatory rape and he can go to jail.

You sound like you have it going on Girl! If he is cool with your age, and it's not affecting your relationship, then right on! Just one thing to say though...HE HAS TO BE CAREFUL. Some people might be offended by a 19 yr old boy with a 15 yr old girl, and if they wanted to do something about it the laws are written and easily enforced.
Good luck to you two...and enjoy yalls holiday.

Well first in foremost I don't think that there is anything wrong with your age nor his. I was 14 and my boyfriend was 18 when I became pregnant with our now 4 year old son. I believe it depends on the maturity rate of both people. Everyone is different.

Nothing is wrong with having a 19 year old boy friend at age 15, as a matter of fact, it is perfectly natural. Since he is treating you with respect, then you have my full support in you endeavors. Tell him he has been accepted into the Brotherhood!

15 is young honey and you may think you are mature but trust me noe one realy becomes mature enough to handle a relationship with someone almost 5 years older then them unitl you are in your 20's I know from expierence you may be one of the lucky ones who found a good guy but at your age you should have no reason being with someone more then a couple years older then you enjoy life and be with guys closer to your age sure there is heart ache and hurt but these things only make you a better stronger person and smarter about who you are with and these things also help you find the type of person you want and to be with

I dated a guy that was 19 when I was 15, plus my mom and dad start dating when she was 17 or 18 and he's eight years older than her, so I don't see anything wrong with that.

i dont think theres anything wrong with that at all, my father passed away when i was 14, so i matured very quickly, and often hang aroung people older than me, as long as you both love/like each other, theres no issue, and for the sex thing, your going to do it when you want anyway, so it may aswell be with someone that respects you and waits till your ready! age shouldnt matter at all!!!!!
P.S- alot of poeple will say it's illegal, it depends on where you live and what state you live in, so dont let that scare you off, unitl you find out the correct answer! im in australia, and in my state you have to be 16 to have sex legally! 18 to drink legally, i know in america it's 21, see the difference!

if he respects you and treats you like you should be treated!!! Then no its not wrong in anyway... Love is love!! And if he respects you in everyway then respect him back by staying with him even tho there is a age difference!!! Who cares about age .. you guys should be together if you both respect and care for each other!!!!
therew are going to be comments from people who say you shouldnt be together .. but screw them !!! Stay withyour boyfriend for as long as you and your boyfriend want!!!!!
there hasto be some reason you guys met .. so dont throw it away .. stick with what you think you should do
