depends on what "affordable" means to you. under $100? between $100 and $200?
what do you want the phone to do? what carrier?
you need to think about the carrier that is best in your area. if you buy a phone off a website, and it's not compatible to your cell carrier, then you can't use it. i suggest researching different phones on the web. you can see the features, etc, then decide. best of luck!

I would have to say it depends on your needs from the phone. Verizon has the best service but there plans are ridiculous sometimes. T_mobile has good plans but not the best service. It just depends on what u need and want from the phone and the phone company.

I did quite an exhaustive comparison, and went with the prepaid T-mobile phone.
You have to pay full pop for the phone itself, but when you pay $100 you get a year of service and 1000 minutes.
If you run out, just buy more.

The best cell phone does not exist. They all have pros and cons, you just have to pick the plan you can live with.
