If you don't like your current screen name, you can either change the formatting (capitalization and spacing) of your screen name, or you can register a new one.
To format your screen name on Windows, select the My AIM menu, select My Options, and select Format Screen Name.
paaatches --On the Macintosh, select the Edit menu, and then select Account Options followed by, Screen Name Format.

You have to create a new one. You can do this at aim.com, aol.com or preferences while you are on aim. In order to transfer you buddy list to the new name just save it and then load it to the new screen name.
