I can't believe you're going to the mall. It's going to be a madhouse. I'm going at like 8:30 tonight (maybe it's 8:30 where you are right now . . .) because it's not as crazy a little later. I don't need you to pick up anything for me - but thanks for asking.

Nope! I made a 2005 New Year's resolution to stay away from malls for the purpose of shopping (eating is another story), and have found that it is much more fun to go to the little independent stores that one finds in small towns on the streets. I decided to keep it up for 2006, and so far so good!
