Do you leave your tree plugged up all night on Christmas Eve into Christmas day?

We leave our lights on all night and the next day too. There's something about those lights being on all night that makes me smile for some reason. :)

Merry Christmas everyone.

Sure do. Everyone wants to wake up Christmas morning to a lit tree.

I live alone in my room here at the Old Soldiers' Home.

My tree lights stay on ALL the time, for I never unplug them, and I put my tree up a couple of weeks ago.

It's only four feet high, artificial and pre-lit, suitable for a one-room bachelor apartment, with a star on top and a glittery garland draped around it.

I love going to sleep at night, lying on my bunk in my darkened room, looking at my Christmas tree with its colored lights.

I complement my tree with a Nativity wallpaper on my desktop, and a Christmas slideshow for my screensaver.

Nollaig Cridheil!

(Pronounced "Nowl-leek Kree-yell", that's Scottish Gaelic for, "Christmas Hearty!")

No. Actually its on all day christmas eve and late into the night. but once we go to sleep, it gets turned off. i always wake up before my daughter does anyway, and i go out and turn it on and put on christmas music and turn on any other things that have lights, then i go in and wake her up, so everythings all ready when she comes out.

Leave the tree lights plugged in and go to bed? Oh my! I don't think my OCD will allow me to do that..I would just sit in bed waiting for the smoke alarm to go off. So i shut them off when we hit the hay!

Yes I do. I just water it lots before hand. And it should be fine. Unless it's dead. Which could become a hazard.

But yah, we leave it in Christmas Eve - Day

no, because even if I closed my bedroom door I could see the lights and it's a waste of electricity. I unplug it when I go to bed on x-mas eve and plug it in on x-mas morning.
