nope. Ten years ago, we watched it, and were appalled and somewhat entertained. That lasted a couple of months, I can't believe the darn show is still on, it's just trash.

When this show came on years ago, it was interestingly entertaining. but, after a while, it was a rip off, I figured, of a show that came on years before called the "Richard Bey Show"(It was on channel 9 in the New York Metropolitan area) and it came on before the "Morton Downey Jr. Show".
But, they are both not on the air anymore and now, what makes up for this is Jerry, Maury and even Judge Hachett.
It is not great, good, nothing. It is meaningless. I only tolerate this when I go to the Laundromat and they have this on t.v. Maury always have some girl who's been on the show 6 or 7 times to see who is the father of her baby. that is just sad. And Jerry always have either a mom dating her daughter's boyfriend (or girlfriend) or a dad doing that or the "I want to tell you that I am really a man with the main part and that is why we do not have sex" type of crap.
This is not good. This is s-h-i-t.

not me. i assume that the majority of people who go on that show and talk about their problems and the husband/boyfriend slept with their wives best friend or whatever feel the need to expose all on tv. not to mention its an excuse for them to have the odd punch -up or two. that's what sets the jerry springer show apart from other so-called chat/talk shows is that it is and is remembered for sadly more than anything else: i'm talking about the fights. yet why do they feel the need to expose their dirty secrets and all in public in the first place? and also i've heard that some of the fights are staged or faked, in an attempt to attract ratings. how sad is that? i mean its bad enough watching people beat the crap out of each other, but that is something else.

its not really entertainment tv when you think about it.

A Guilty Pleasure -- and it is absolutely Hilarious -- how can anyone be depressed when you watch the Jerry Springer Show?

It was good at first but then you started to think that it was all a bit fake. It also got so boring. There's only so many times that you can watch the drama unfold when someone finds out their girlfriend is a man.
