ok these are kinda stupid but fun for kids:
choose words that they cant say the whole night(christmas, santa) and each person gets a safety pin and if you catch someone saying it you take their safety pin...whoever has the most wins

or each person gets a paper and places it on their forhead and they have to figure out who they are by talking to other people (each person could be like santa, rudolph, ect)

or you could do that last game with playing cards

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

Some of the games especially Sandys Christmas Carol game can be adjusted for nearly any age 8 and up.

For parties mixers like this work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversatrion lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groans of the answer section.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

good for a close family and lots of people around to warm the atmosphere. but a long bottle on the floor and have it spin "laterally" so that both ends of the bottle will show an opposite direction -- those shown by the bottle's top end and bottom end -- give either a kiss or a small gift to each other. enjoy.

yet another twist on the White Elephant interest is having all the infants convey something from residing house, an previous e book or toy or something laying around that they do no longer choose anymore, (no value) and wrap it and positioned across they are present, all the infants sit down in a circle with the presents interior the middle. you initiate with the youngest infant or p.c.. one infant to initiate and pass around the circle, the two they might p.c.. the present interior the middle or they might choose for to take a modern from somebody else. i'm questioning as I write this nonetheless, that if your doing this with infants that should no longer pass so nicely, so possibly you ought to place numbers on the presents and function the infants p.c.. numbers and decide the presents. i'm throwing the Christmas celebration for my mom's area of the family members and it is going to be huge and that i'm grateful on your question, and the solutions...thnx!

You can do a gift exchange. Set a dollar amount, then pick numbers--number one picks first, then so on, number two can take number one's present, three number two's present and so on. There is a limit of three times of which a person's gift can be taken. It is kinda fun, and patience is a key--however you don't want to wait too long or you might get stuck with something you don't want!
