Can someone tell me plain and simple what needs to happen for the Steelers to make it to the playoffs? Everyone keeps saying that it's close to impossible for them to make it, but they never say what actually needs to happen. Can someone explain?

Heres what needs to happen

They have to win their last two games and then
Denver has to lose both games
Tennesse has to lose at least one
Buffalo needs to lose at least one
Jacksonville has to lose both games
Jets need to lose two

Well, it certainly isn't impossible. They are 7-7, and they need a lot of help. Cincinnati losing to Indianapolis helped the Steelers' playoff hopes. There are four teams who sit with the best chance at 8-6 -- the Bengals, Jets, Jaguars, and Broncos. The Steelers are next at 7-7, along with three other teams -- The Bills, Titans, and Chiefs.

Steelers win out. Bengals have to lose out. Jets lose to the Dolphins. Broncos lose to the 49ers. Jaguars lose any game the rest of the year. Tennessee loses to Buffalo. Buffalo loses the game after Tennessee. Kansas City loses one game this year. That's how the Steelers make the playoffs. However, if the Bengals win one game, the Steelers are mathmatically eiliminated. So the Bengals must lose out in order for the Steelers to have a chance.

they might ought to overcome Jax first. whilst they do this, then we are able to communicate in regards to the Pats. AFC playoffs are going to be super. you have the Pats and Colts, the super-Chargers are commencing to play nicely and so are the Jags, the Steelers with their d and balanced Offense... then the two the Titans with their punishing D and Vince youthful, or the exciting and gun Browns. lots greater suitable than the crap interior the NFC. If the Cowboys do no longer make it to the superbowl, then none of them must be allowed to play golfing or video games for the entire low season as a punishment.

im not to sure but i belive the jets must lose both of their final games, i know the bengals have to lose both and the steelers have to win both of coarse and i cant remember but one team has to lose one game of the two. that would be pretty crazy if they ended up going to the playoffs. i think the bills have to lose both as well.
GO STEELERS!!!

you are all wrong 3 way ties for wild card get broken inside the division 1st. cincy needs to lose out, jags lose out or lose 1 game and titans win out. titans got tie breaker on jags. same for broncos win versus cincy then lose to sf and kc wins out both 9-7 then kc wins tie break, but steelers got tie breaker on them. if all that happens they will get in screw the jets they can win out and get other seed. if titans win out they would have beat the bills. it is not that far of a strech they got adecent chance if kc and titans win out if not very slim so cheer for them twoteams

steelers must win out and everyone else must loose out, a win by jax, cincy, denver, etc. or a steeler loss puts them out.
