life goes on.
there really is no better day in the whole year
on which to do something u really do enjoy. Within reason
each person owes it to themselves to do at least one thing
they really enjoy on Christmas Day.
why should it be any different?
I know that u have put ur question in a fairly light - hearted manner so it is ok but it does raise an important point. It does not necessarily apply to u so relax!!
It is that the attitude is the one that makes so many people unhappy about or even hate Christmas. If u are putting pressure on people by saying that they SHOULD do something special and exciting and different, isn't that putting an unreasonable burden on so many??
If u keep telling people that if they don't enjoy themselves or do something outrageously exciting or different that they are not normal, maybe they will start to feel like they're not.
I have experienced many things at Christmas.
joy sadness loneliness love peace laughter tears of joy and sadness and quite severe heartache.
but i have survived and i still love Christmas with a passion
even in any of those scenarios. Christmas happens somewhere within the heart, or it doesn't happen at all. the feeling that makes the day so special may last for just a few seconds or it may just be a thought.
but if u can spare a thought for others who are spreading the love and joy of Christmas to the less fortunate and maybe raise a glass to them.......................
now that really is something!!
may all those who go on here on Christmas Day experience some kind of blessing.

I will be here, and I don't think it's very nice of you to say that some people have a problem with it.
There are many people who will be alone for Christmas and maybe this is a friend, somewhere they can help people by answering questions. Not everyone has a family or friends to go to.
