Don't focus so much on being famous. Practice your talents and good things will happen.

there are two ways the flash in the pan type where you get famous for a single hit (usually that someone else wrote) and then turn into a laughing stock because you don't really know what you are doing, and those who become famous over a long period of time because they become known for their skill. You choose.

You thinking you have a good voice will NOT do it. Take lessons, realize you have a lot to learn. Work on your social skills and being humble, you'll need to stand out from the other million people who think THEY have a good voice. And if fame is your goal, you've already set your self up for failure.

I would get a good recording of some original music and then publish it at CDbaby.com. That's the best place for independent singers to get known. If your music gets known there then the big labels will be after you for a contract. Good luck!

It doesn't matter how good your voice is. You'd better work on your body. 30 years ago, your voice would have gotten you somewhere. In the music industry today, you'd better turn heads; they can digitally alter the music while you're doing your photo shoot.

Work very hard in school, spend extra time working on your voice. Also understand a VERY small percent of people ~make~ it. Hard Work, Effort + LUCK.
