My fiance and I are going down there for New Year's Eve, too. We were conflicted about what to see since we've both been to all of the parks, but for our purposes chose Universal. It's worthwhile, especially if you plan to do Islands of Adventure (if you've never gone before, it's an awesome park!). There's also the Universal CityWalk, which has tons of restaurants and clubs to make New Year's night a blast. They're having their own celebration with Cyndi Lauper - check out the details here: http://www.universalorlando.com/ev_nye_06.html
SeaWorld is always fun though and will be having their own New Year's celebration, details here: http://www.seaworld.com/SWF/SWFSE/newyears.aspx
Good luck!

Sea international. typical Studios is a robust a million.5 hr rigidity from San Diego. there is often the Wild Animal Park, the SD Zoo, and the Birch Aquarium (approximately 15-minutes up the coast) too. Balboa Park has some super interactive museums besides. in case you haven't any longer been nonetheless, Sea international may be #a million on the record. i opt to propose the Breakfast with Shamu and in case you opt to have the potential to seem later yet nonetheless get respectable seats do the Picnic Lunch for the Shamu practice. for my area, i does not propose any of the excursions. you will get basically as close and feed the comparable animals without the excursion. Do all the shows nonetheless, they are super. Get there early for the sea Lion practice, the "pre-practice entertainment" is hilarious. in case you intend to choose for better than sometime, a minimum of one person on your team ought to get the Silver Passport, it relatively is endless admission for the year plus loose parking ($10 each and on a daily basis discounts) and 10-20% off the Bkft & Lunch bargains for each member of your celebration so it could pay for itself. For a unmarried day, verify Ebay for $8 off consistent with person coupons promoting for like $a million.50. One coupon is robust for 6 people.

Definitely Universal! Both are great, but if made to choose I would pick Universal over Sea World. Much more to do and see IMHO.

I plan on going to Universal next new years because of City Walk. Here is all the info for what's going on this year. Looks like Cyndi Lauper and Tower of Power will be performing. It has the prices listed also. If you go there, feel free to email me your thoughts about it. Have fun.
