In our solar system there are 8 planets. Earlier in the summer there were nine planets. But because astronomers agreed that pluto was too small to be a regular planet, they now call it a dwarf planet.

In this our solar system Pluto was so tiny as a planet, but it is one of the largest dwarf planets.
