So, me and my husband starting trying to concieve about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We were too anxious to wait to see if I started my period so we took the 1st response test the night before I was supposed to start. There were 2 lines but one was very light. I decided to take another the next morning and there were 2 lines but the one line was even lighter than the one I had taken the night before. I didn't start my period and its a day later so, does that mean I am pregnant and it only took 2 1/2 weeks to get pregnant?

Usually if you see two lines - even if they're faint - you're pregnant. Wait a couple days and take another one in the morning.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how long you let the test sit before you read the results. If you waited past 3 minutes than NO you are NOT PREGNANT. You must disregard the results after the 3 minute waiting period is up. If not, then there is a possibility, but I don't think a test would be positive at only 2 1/2 weeks though. You should go get a blood test done. Congrats if you are! Best wishes and good luck!

Yes, you are pregnant. Congratulations. You don't need to do anymore tests. You should see an OB and get on prenatal vitamins if you're not already (reduce birth defects). I don't know why others are questioning this. A line, no matter how faint, means you're pregnant. The only thing that can make the line turn is hCG in your urine which only happens in pregnancy. I wish you the best!

Pregnancy at 2 1/2 week is possible. However, wait until you've missed your period for 2 months. You may do a selftest pregnancy test to determine after 6 weeks of missed period.

Could be. If you were ovulating then you have a little baby already growing inside of you. When I took my pregnancy test I had a similar respond where the lines were very light,so I went to the DOC to check that out. Guess what---I was pregnant.

If you have two lines, then usually yes, you are pregnant. It only takes one time to get pregnant, so the length of trying doesn't really matter. I would make an appointment with your ob and get a blood test to confirm. If you are, the earliest you start taking care of yourself and the baby the better. Congrads, certainly sounds like you are.

You are pregnant. I got pregnant the first try, and the line was very faint too. Take it again in a few days and it will be much darker.

My husband and I were together for 5 years, with no birth control. We just used the pull out method. As soon as we started "trying" I ended up pregnant! Started trying on the 17th of July, and on the 6th of Aug I found out:) Trust me, it's possible...and congrats!

Go to the doctor and get a blood test. It is the most accurate test to find out if you are pregnancy. Good Luck
