You must be fired or laid off in order to get unemployment in my knowledge of the issue. If you quit, its your choice, not the employers.

Each state has different requirements. But I would say no you would not be able to get unemployment. I suggest you go on line and look for a job or get the paper sent to your new address, although it might be a day late, you will still be able to see what jobs might fit your skills. I would hope his employer is compensating him well for him having to uproot his family, With that being said, you should have a little bit to hold you til you get a job that you like. Best of luck to you

No you do no longer qualify for unemployment via quitting your job to relocate. Your former supervisor did no longer lay you off by way of no fault of your guy or woman. You left to relocate via own selection. I understand you felt it replaced into the only option because family members comes first, in spite of the shown fact that it replaced into nonetheless your option to provide up your job. in case you place up a declare to unemployment your former supervisor would be contacted to verify why you no longer paintings there. as quickly as your organization we could the state understand you provide up, it is going to become clean which you're unemployed via own selection, and your declare for reward would be denied. you will ought to stay off your discounts till you will come across a clean job.

I suggest you check with the unemployment department. You might be able to collect since your husband has to move for his job. Military spouses are able to collect unemployment when they have to leave their jobs because their spouses get transfered.
