i was told no position would make a difference, its decided by the male, not you personally but your chromosones (sperm) determine the sex. dont know if thats true but thats what i have been told. this is quoted from the book "Pregnancy, birth and the Newborn" by Dr Jonathon Morris.
" Only one pair of chromosomes determine the sex of the baby. Woman have a matching pair of X chromosones,(XX) Men have one X and one Y, so some sperm can carry X and others carry Y. Comsequently, the sex of the unborn child is determined by the chromosones that the father contributes. For example, if a sperm carrying an X chromosone fertilises the egg, the baby is a girl (XX) if the sperm carrying a Y chromosone fertilises the egg, the baby is a boy (XY)."
in other words, you decide, but are unaware at the time, its what ever fertilises the egg which you have no control over, hope that helps, and good luck with a little girl!

Females have 22 pairs of chromosomes plus two X chromosomes, while males have 22 pairs of chromosomes plus an X and a Y chromosome. How is the sex of a baby determined? Well it all depends on whether the egg is fertilised by a sperm carrying an X or a Y chromosome. You see all female eggs contain an X chromosome. But sperm can contain either an X chromosome or a Y chromosome. Now if an egg is fertilised by a sperm containing an X chromosome, the zygote will have two X chromosomes and will develop into a girl. But if the egg is fertilised by a sperm containing a Y chromosome, the zygote will contain an X and a y chromosome and will develop into a boy.
What are the chances of having a boy or a girl? Well it appears that of all sperms formed, roughly half will contain an X chromosome and half a Y chromosome. Fertilisation appears to be random so there is an equal chance of the egg being fertilised by an X or a y sperm. This means your chances of having a boy or a girl are also equal.

Why should it matter what gender child you have as long as it's healthy? Every child is a blessing whether male or female. You get what you get. Don't be so damn picky because there are people out there who can't have children at all who would love to have either a boy or girl.

Well they say that do it missionary and do it a few days like 3, before she ovulates( that is day 14 from day 1 of her period, if she has a normal cycle!!) I would so that and other than that I guess just pray!!
They say girl sperm are slower, but stronger and boy sperm are faster but weaker that is why you have sex a few days before ovulation instead of doing it when she ovulates!!

um, i learned in freshman health class, biology too, that it's the sperm that determine sex of the baby, not positions. so if you know how to make only your "girl" swimmers swim and your "boy" swimmers stay home, i'd say go for it.

I think the only way you can look at it is like this:
If you're destined to have a girl - then a girl it is.
If you're destined to have a boy - then a boy it is.

Heh you can't really choose the sex of your baby, despite what people may tell you. It really is up to your sperm - and they are not sentient beings, they just do their job.
