i am the one who overdosed my fish with the salt teatment the black moore a few days ago
the fish is doing much better now since i put him in clean water he is eating and everything but he is having a very hard time swiming to the top of the tank to get air or food
he trys and trys thats why i have him in shallow water in the bucket still , with a aip pump i have been looking at him and it looks to me that some how his back tail is broken
my question for you all is if i put him in his tank will he die because he can't make it to the top of the tank?
and what do you think is wrong with his tail and if it is broke ?
what can i do for it? ps. he has hella red streaks in his back tail..

He will probaly be better off in the regular tank with heating and filtration. Not only will it help prevent stress, but it may help him heal faster. Feed food that sinks until he gets better and hopefully he should be fine. If you feed flakes then just get some between your fingers and release them under the surface of the water and they will sink. Good luck! I hope your little guy gets better.

Yes, I'd move him back to the main tank.
but you need to make sure the water is not toxic in the main tank.
