Who invented Minutes for meetings? Where did this come from?

When the trades met in the times of ancient Egypt, notes were taken at meetings as a method of documenting what was agreed to, said, done, voted on, etc. Minutes are as old as written history . There was no web site to back this up to be found. You can see in wikipedia that minutes come from Parliamentary procedure. Parliament being the English governors.

When corporations are formed, the First Meeting Minutes are created for both the board of directors and shareholders.
