These two matters are totally unrelated, it could be argued that as you did not give your notice period, you breached your contract and therefore they wont pay youir holiday, howver this is fundementally flawed as holiday entitlement is not a contractual right but a statutary right. you should therefore be paid all outstanding holiday monies owed to you up until your last day of work. if the company wish that can take you to court for breach of contract and failure to give notice but this is NEVER EVER done as the cost to do so FAR outweights the benefit so you can disregard it as a possibility.
as i say the two are unrelated. the only thing you companty could legally do is refuse to pay you any holiday entiled over and above the staturor 20 days entitlement. for instance if your contact goves you 30 holidays per year, your first breach of contract would nullify this part of the contact and therefore they do not have to pay this additional.
basically the answer is yes they do and if they dont it would be classed as an unlawful deduction of wages which can be recoved at tribunal. I say again the two issues (holiday pay and notice) are unrelated and should not be confused.

No. The boss doesn't owe you anything because you quit without leaving any notice. Next time you get in that situation, get another job and then give 2 weeks notice so you have a good reference and don't inconvience your employer. When you do that, the employer wouldn't owe you any holiday pay either. The only time you get holiday pay is when you are employed over a certain amount of time (some companies vary from 30 days to 1 year).

I don't think you would be entitled as you are in breach of contract. I walked out of a job a few years back and I also lost the week in hand I was owed. They even threatened to sue me. It was worth it though. As somebody above suggested...you should have taken your holidays before you quit.

I doubt it...... If you quit without finding a new job, you not only don't get your holiday money, but you do get the dummy of the year award. I don't care how bad things are.... it's better than being unemployed. Next time think things out.

By not giving any notice, you most likely lost any chance you had of leaving with anything. Most companies include in your contract a requirement for 2 weeks notice, if not met, you are breaching the contract, leaving you entitled to nothing.

lol your so silly, absolutely not!
you should have went to the labor board and told them that you werent getting breaks and tried to work things out instead of quitting so fast. Maybe then you would at least get unemployment. Now your jacked.
Happy Holidays!

Possibly not as you may have breached your contract of employment.
Employment rights are severely restricted for people who have been employed for less than twelve months anyway, so I suspect that you will have little grounds for complaint in any legal sense.
Sorry.

you not only do not get holiday pay, if you had quit me without notice, I would never hire you back.
I have had several decide the job was not so bad, and wanted to come back.
