Can you use Windows Media Player or is itunes the only way??

transfer it to itunes first. you don't have to buy songs from itunes, just make your library list!

Convert the track(S) to Mp3 then from the folder you've converted to Mp3 drag the files into iTunes purchased listing in iTunes & they will be there. The iPod will syng when plugged in (if it is set up to do so) If you have Windows XP you can rip Ur CD's as Mp3s in Windows Media Player 10 or 11 (Tools-Options-Rip Music) and then drag into iTunes. Do it all the time Good Luck

Yes you can use Windows Media, You just have to make sure the music is unprotected or you've been given permission to use it. All you have to do is plug in the ipod and click on sync.

You shouldnt have bought an ipod for that main reason....

i am mostly sure that you can. Its easy to get iTunes. just use that, it makes everything easy
