How often do you visit the grave of someone that you loved?

Question

I'm referring to someone that you loved deeply (i.e. parents, siblings, spouses, children), as opposed to distant relatives and/or friends.

No need to share how they passed away, or when. How often you visit them in the cemetary will suffice... Daily? Weekly? Monthly?

if its nearby, at first maybe daiily, but after a month or so the visits can start to get more sparingly,

if its not nearby, then maybe on weekends, or holidays, and their birthday and like mothers day if it was your mother

I visit my grandparents graves every memorial day... I would visit more often but their graves are about 30 miles away and that's a long way to drive to a cemetary.

I did love them dearly. My grandma died of a broken heart about 2 years after my grandpa. I don't think I've ever cried at a funeral until my grandma passed away.... I had a lot of great childhood memories with her. God rest their souls.

my mom and uncle,i vist like once a month only becuz where it is like 5 hours away from me so i hate being in a car if it was closer i would go like twice a week.

My uncle was cremated...his ashes were spread on a cliff in Puerto Rico...i havent visited the site since then...but it is in my memory...i live in NJ...that's why i dont visit often....
