No, any entity that dispenses, furnishes, prescribes, sells at wholesale, distributes, or manufactures controlled substances must be registered with the DEA.

No. A Pharmacy cannot even open it's doors without a DEA number.

If I'm not mistaken, the Doctor must have the DEA number and it must be on their prescription form.
