Dino Zoff.
He may have started a little bit older than Pele but he won a World Cup aged 40 so he was around longer than Pele :-)

It is hard to compare different era let alone positions but Zoff's record of the longest playing time without allowing goals in international tournaments (1142 minutes) set between 1972 and 1974 is amazing and compares favorably to Pele's scoring. In his position no-one can touch him over his career.

I think Soccer today is played completely different compared with 50 years ago.(I definitely think that PELE was a excellent in his time) BUT, if PELE was to reborn and play again in the soccer of today he would be average.

In my opinion I think on his time every single player had too much respect for the guy.

Genius is relative depending on what area you're talking about but for his sport Pele is certainly a legend.

personal sharing, I know the name Pele, I know it is a sports figure, but I have absolutely no Idea what Pele plays. I guess that mean he is as impressive as Paris HIlton, because I don't know what she does for a job either.
