I don't know what to get him. We've been going out for about 10 months. He plays just about every sport and is very goofy. Any ideas??

My boy loved this: I made a scrapbook of photos of us, things we had done together (ex. I put in our prom tickets, tickets for a concert we went to together, photos from the day we spent at the zoo...), and put it all into a photo album. It's pretty inexpensive to put together. You could probably do it with carboard and construction paper if you wanted, and decorate it yourself. It's just a very personal gift, much better than a CD or DVD. You could also put together something like a collage of picture of his favorite athletes, pictures of him playing at his games/meets, buy him a jersey of his favorite player... mix him a cd of his favorite songs (throw in a song or two that tells how you feel about him...), stuff like that. Be CREATIVE!!

If you are a typical female, clothes are acceptable; i.e., something you think looks good on him.
Games? Possibility if you know what he has and what he likes.
Sports wise? Hmmm. Some books might be interesting or shirts with icons on them. If he plays any sport with teams he likes, stuff with those on them.
Basically if you are his gf, think about what he likes to do?
Goofy? Funny stuff always is around

Get him a nice shirt from his favorite store, or whatever brand he usually wears. Could also get him a nice iTunes gift card. (I am suspecting he has an iPod because pretty much all teens these days have iPods.) You could also get him a nice watch or wallet. If you both really love each other, then get him a special little bracelt or man's neclace.

being a 16 year old guy myself, i'd have to say to get him like a favorite dvd or cd and then throw in something that has to do with an inside joke between you two.. something that will make him laugh and just think about how lucky he is to have you =]
