When you are pregnant and sick it really takes its toll on you, trust me, I went through something similar to what you are describing. It's hard to figure out if all of your symptoms are from being sick or being pregnant. Tylenol is the safest pain reliever while pregnant. It is also safe to take while on amoxycillian. There have been some nasty viruses going around this year, I just got over one that lasted 5 weeks, and I keep hearing this same type of stuff from many people. Hang in there, rest as much as possible, and try drinking gatorade, it might help you feel a bit more energized. Good luck!!

I was having the same thing with a horrible sore throat. First my OBGYN gave me children's Sudafed. It did nothing but dry my sinuses. A week later I went back and told her I need something else b/c I couldnt take the pain and coughing. So she gave me something called a Z-Pak (Zithromax 250mg tablets). I took the last one today. It was a 5-day treatment. All I know is after day two I felt 150% better. Maybe u can mention it to ur Doctor.

You can have some of the cough drops ask doctor, and you can take reg. Tylenol. tea is good hang in there if you feel worried about the baby keep track of the baby's movements on record write down every time it kicks or rolls around if it is slower than normal then you can call with some more info.

Since the doctor gave the 'OK' to take Amoxicillin then it is alright. However, try to minimise any intake of medication unless those prescribed for pregnancy such as Iron pills. Avoid tea due to caffeine and tea is said to release a certain chemical that is capable of removing/cleansing away nutrients.

The symptoms sound like the flu. Sorry. I would talk to your doctor before taking any other medicine, even Tylenol. Make sure your doctor ok's it first. They may want you to wait until the antibiotic has worn off. Keep bundled up and drink lots of orange juice!!

You can take Tylanol ( sorry for any misspelling) but not any aspirin products, which includes those patches you put on your body which heat up. Don't use those for any aches.

However, first make sure Tylanol will not interfere or have an adverse reaction to amoxicillin.

It sounds like many of the symptoms I had with bronchitis.. Go back & ask them to give you a head to toe check up. I was 26 weeks & hospitalized for 8 days for broncitis because doctors didnt check me for it.

i think it would probably be best to talk to your doctor to see what kind of treatment you can get to help alleviate your symptoms. though if you have a cold or flu, you shouldn't need amoxicillin.
