bites you. Can I ask that person to give me a health report. I'm concerned if that person has any diseases that can be transferred by her biting me. Legally i can probably sue her, but thats not what i want. I want to have a health record so i know that she did not give me a disease. If she doesnt give it to me, can I obtain it legally?

You would probably have to file a report with the police first...assult....then would have to get a lawyer.

You only need to worry if the bite broke skin (i.e., if you were bleeding and her saliva mixed into your blood). If it did, take pictures so you have proof. But unless she hands over her health records willingly, you'll have to go to court to get them. Health records are confidential so I don't think there's a legal way that you can just get them.

Were you fighting like (I'm gonna kill you) or like playful. Because if you're in an I'm gonna kill you fight then that person won't prolly give you a health report on the count of she wanting you to worry. But if she is your friend or seomthing, hopefully she is nice enough to do that for you.

You are not entitled under the rules of HIPPA without bringing a lawsuit, but you can get tested for communicable disease at his or hers expense...
...you can also threaten a suit and that person could then give you a release of their records voluntarily to avoid a lawsuit....

...Rabbies comes to mind, Ha!

I am pretty sure you can. But, the chances of getting a disease because she bit you are very very low. Even more so if the skin wasn't broken.

Yes you could obtain it legally, but this might mean that you have to sue her if she won't give it up.

wow, a physical fight huh?! That must be serious! I think the last time I fought someone was in the 10th grade. 5 years ago. Wow....talk about immature! On both parties, not just you.

just go to a hospital and get a blood test done on yourself. They may report it to the police, but fine, that's the first step
