I am new to this but I can't beleive how many fashion answers r WRONG! I've been in fashion for over 15 yrs!

Question

i am not trying to offend anyone but I have been involved in fashion for over 15 yrs-I can't beleive how incorrect answers are that i have read ie:someone asked why the tag is ripped in some clothing from stores like TJ Maxx and the best answer was so you can't return them to dept stores- that is incorrect -they are torn because stores such as TJ, Marshalls,AJ Wright buy Off price and defective goods and the company that sold them such as rocawear will rip the tag because it is defective piece-u might not even see the defect but it did not make it to their qualifications so it is sold off price another question was can someone wear an off white suit now some answers were great but somepeople staed NO! of course u can as one answer pointed out make sure the material is a warmer fabric and as i answered add a touch of color-PLease people becareful what u answer yes everyone has there own opinion of fashion but somethings are just ridiculously answered

I hear you , But your not the first to complain about the questions being answered by people that don't have a clue.. I'm glad you wrote this again... The other complaint question referred to another subject, but it all goes to make the same point , Please just answer the questions you are knowledgeable in, and let the others go .. The asker would appreciate it much more .. Lots of people are very interested in getting some correct answers. My- self being one ...... Great Question - Answer Thank You

I'm not into fashion at all, and you didn't really ask a question, so we're a great match. I'd just say this: if someone is coming to this web site with a serious fashion question (or a serious question about anything) he/she is getting what he/she paid for. This seems to work best for silly fun and the occasional really hard, technical question. Everything in between is up for grabs. All you can do is try to provide a better answer and explain why.

Just because you have been in fashion for years doesn't necessarily mean that you have all the right answers when it comes to fashion. I wouldn't wear a lot of the things that people in fashion suggest for my body type and I always get complimented on my sense of style. Your fashion is based on what works for you not on what other people say works for your body type.

(And being the guy what hangs up the clothes dropped by customers while digging through the sales racks in Wal Mart would hardly considered "being in fashion".)

Billy Idol had fairly some teenagers reducing their hair spiky and dyeing it platinum blonde (yours particularly lined) Judas Priest and Iron Maiden popularized wearing spandex pants and studded wristbands (gah..what i ought to have known like in intense college... no ask your self I had no boyfriends)

In a way you are right....a lot of people on here are quite young with little experience dressing themselves.

HOWEVER, there are a LOT of good opinions and things to learn.

i agree...of course some of the answers are supplied by younger people who have a different view or do not know any better
