I'd like to see everyone who claims to be deeply concerned by world hunger adopt children rather than insist on reproducing his or her own genes. There are so many people having treatments to enable them to have their own children when there are so very many homeless, hungry, and disadvantaged children in the world.

Does anyone see things similarly? Why or why not?

No, I do not agree with adopting all those children. What those people need is contraception. Would you have ten kids if you can't afford to feed them? Where do all the millions go that are sent to them every year? To their corrupt government leaders. I say use the money to send in people with contraceptives and teach them how to use it. Then help feed the ones already there and so reduce an ongoing problem.

I do see what you are saying, but only to a certain degree. Why are all of these babies being born in countries and to familes that cannot afford to care for them? As long as they continue to be born then people are expected to take care of them or else they will starve or die of some disease. I am all for helping but when and where does it stop? How far are we expected to go. And why is it that there are so many starving, homeless children right here in our own country who are being ignored

Why should we as a nation have to literally take care of another person's child. I want my own, I want one to look like me and to have the same ethnicity as me and to be truly part of the family. There's no reason why we must constantly wipe the noses of the 3rd world. They have the children, they must look after them and if they can't and if the food aid the west ships out constantly doens't do it, too bad. I'm not paying for some idiots problems.

China just put out a list today of new requirements for adopting their children. They will no longer let people with these afflictions adopt: Single , Over 50 , Obese. Anyone taking medication for depression/anxiety, and anyone with facial deformities. I just saw it on the News. How sick is that?

I see what you are saying but we would like to have are own children to, there is nothing wrong with adopting children but we have the right to have our own.

Plain and simple, I don't like other peoples kids. The best chance a child has with me would be if the child was my own.

too bad your parents didn't have the same thoughts and we wouldn't have to answer such a stupid question.
Thanks for the 2 points!
