I heard that to make your lips softer/smoother ect. you should brush them lightly with your toothbrush before you go to bed at night, and that by doing this, you'll wake up with softer lips. Does anyone know if this actually works or not?

it does, as well as vaseline or some sort of chap stick to moisturize.

Yes. It exfoliates them. But, after doing this put some lip balm on and the next morning you should wake up with fuller, softer lips. It works every time for me, and much better then lip plumping glosses.

Hi! That exfoliates the dry , old skin fron the lip. Now you must moisturize after. Use a great balm like Carmex (in drug stores or Walmart for about 2 dollars) Then go to bed. It works amazingly! Good luck!

I agree with Mary Kay Satin Lips, it has the same scuffing effect as a toothbrush. You have the lip scrub, then when you've washed it off & dried, you have the lip balm and it's SO nice, not like ordinary lip balms, its so much better!

That would work because brushing the lips lightly would exfoliate them. You also need to keep Vaseline or chap-stick on them to lock in the moisture and make sure that they stay soft.

sure, it's getting rid of the dead skin cells However, in the winter you lips might already be dry, so do this only if you're lips are not chapped. And put some vitamin E oil on them before bed

I heard it will plump your lips. Not make your lips softer. You can always use Softlips or try putting on honey on your lips for 10 min to get soft lips.

i do that...and yeah it does work...but make sure your toothbrush is pretty dry...also, when you put lip gloss or lip stick on, befor doing that use some sort of chapstick, (blistex is best, NEVER us the brand CHAPSTICK) even if your lips arn't chapped...it helps...

hope this helps!

You could also use Mary Kay's satin lips during the day.
