I can not think of a gift for my husband this holiday season, pathetic, I know.
Does anyone have any creative or unique gift ideas?

I wanted my husband's time. So I bought him a cruise. It was easy to do and all I did was pay the downpayment. They give you a free 'layaway' plan to pay off the rest. I booked it for the following fall so it gave me time to pay and the rate was great. We had the very best time and for the first time ever, his work couldn't call him! :) We now cruise on a regular basis.
If that is too elaborate, anything you do to spend time together. Give him a box with a coupon for a mystery date with one clue, such as pack gloves and be ready to head out over night on Friday, whatever date you want. Plan a surprise weekend away at a bed n breakfast or camping or a weekend at the beach - all dependent on where you're located.
I once found incredible round trip tickets to florida for $100 so I made up a beach basket. Wrapped all sorts of things that had to do with a beach & Florida, sun lotion, aligator candies, beach ball, flip flops, puzzle of underwater fish, FL post card, kite, and the plane tickets. I rented a beach front condo off season for a fraction of what it would cost for me to vacation locally.
I find material gifts come and go but quality time is a rarity these days and something we all have to work on.

If he has a long commute get him satellite radio; It makes the drive go by a little faster; or you can go with the Elephant Trunk boxers... yes the gift that keeps on giving.

1. A starter kit for making his own beer or wine
2. Tickets to a sports event
3. A Richard Petty Nascar driving experience package
4. Wrap a piece of Victoria's Secret lingerie and give it to him.
(It is usually given to the woman, but the gift is really for the man,
who gets to enjoy seeing his partner wearing it.)

I too have this problem...I think the best idea is to use his favorite things...like animal and search ideas from there! Good luck!
