Nope...the honeymoon will be short...there won't be enough basketballs on the court for both Iverson and Carmelo...and someday, sooner or later, Iverson is gonna do or say something that is gonna make George Karl want to kill him...ain't gonna work
...Philly, by getting a proven, unselfish classic point guard (Andre Miller...can score and has a 3:1 assist/turnover ratio) and TWO first round draft picks got the best of this deal by far...the 76ers will be back in the mix with a quality team again in 2 years

Yes no doubt they are legitimate west contenders. Do not question AI's passion for winning. He has been on the Sixers his whole career who have had 2 losing seasons in the past 3. He can pass but did not with the Sixers because there were no decent players around him. Proof? Look at Team USA in 2004 and plus All Star Games where all he did was pass because he was surrounded by All-Stars. Carmelo will have to learn that he may not be the #1 player on the court all the time, but if he does, watch out. When Denver is down by one, defenses will have to watch out for 2 players, not just one. Iverson's leadership, experience, passing, defensive, scoring skills will help Carmelo mature and create open shots for him. Just think: the #1 and #2 scorers in the league (Points per game wise) are on the same team.

yea. allen iverson can finally fit into his role as shooting guard since earl boykins is great at point guard. Also a.i. and carmelo are the top scorers in the nba right now, and with j.r. smith, who is also a good scorer, they're practically unstoppable. Not to mention george karl, who is a competent coach.

well i guess it depends on if Allen Iverson fells like sharing the ball which i think he will now that he knows there someone else on his team that can score besides him so do i think hes a good fit yes to i think they'll contend for a championship no

I don't think so! THey need him right now but i think he will try to steal Carmelo's place! Carmelo is the star! Allen doesn't need to get his place even though J.r Smith and Anthony are out!
