Definitely DON'T use a burner as Acetone is highly flammable. A hot water bath or hot plate would work best.
Also I would suggest doing this under a hood or other well ventilated area as acetone is also highly volatile and the fumes could overwhelm you.

Acetone boils at about 125 degrees Farenheit. It will boil in hot water
that isn't boiling. It also is an excellent sort of stuff for a flash fire. If this doesn't happen you will breath the vapors which is very bad for you unless the container is enclosed or you do this in a hood being exhausted to the outside.

Use a hot plate - not a burner. Acetone is extremely flammable.

Anything else but that. Acetone is extremely flammable to start with, and any sort of heat which you might provide is likely to start a fire. Only a very low temperature electric resistance heater would be suitable.

make sure you don't use a bunsen burner. Acetone is highly flamable.
You should use boiling water on a heating or hot plate.
