Should i burn it to a cd or how should i do this?

The idea with cloning is to open the computer and put the cloned unit on the wire where it should go. Pay attention to jumper settings if you do this.

To get the data re-copied into a blank drive requires a program to be running on the machine. This might be a bootable floppy disk or bootable CD utility program.

You may also need to look at the BIOS settings when the power is turned on to get the bootable program to start.

Be sure you know whether or not to write a new Master Boot Record on a new drive and whether or not the cloning software copied the old one to the cloned disk unit you made.

This can be quite a learning experience. You may have to invite a friend who knows to do it for you.

Use the same software to install it in the computer which you used for cloning.

If your operating system is XP you can't do it.
