there is this girl in my class and supposevely she has heard from people that i like her. I only like her as a friend but i got htis feeling that she likes me because she acts differentle with me than others. Today she wanted me to sent her the e-mails of some students and she replied it by sayin "thank you. now i have said this before but i have heard from people that you like me. Do you?"
She wants me to e-mail her the answer TODAY and i do not know what to say. i am thinking on saying that "i do not answer those questions, i keep them to myself and to nobody else"or something like that
so what should i do

You need to ask yourself do you like her as more than a friend. If your heart tells you that you Like or even Love her you should tell her because girls don't like waiting. Since you said you would rather your relationship stay just as friends I would tell her that you like her as any friend would, with this statement you allow her to know that you care for her only as a friend and would rather it stay this way. If you tell her what you are planing this will tell her that you do have feelings for her and don't want to tell her or face rejection.

Well, you didn't say whether or not you are open to seeing her as more than a friend. That's the real decision you need to make. All of this stuff about "hearing from other people"...I don't know what that means, lol. But if you don't think you can like her beyond being friends, you should be honest so you don't drag things out and hurt her as she clings on to the possibility that you do want more. How about..."I thought we were very good friends, I hadn't thought about it the way you are asking."

be your self and be honest with her . just say hey I don't want to hurt your feelings, but whatever you heard from others saying I like you, say thats true, but only as a friend and nothing else. what ever you do or say , you are going to hurt her feelings, but you are being honest and your not lying, and eventually she will get over it and thank you for telling her the truth. good luck

Just send the message back that you like her as a friend. That is all you have to say. No one gets hurt or anything. Friends are better to have them you can keep for alot longer.

Why not just nip this in the bud and tell her the truth? Just tell her that the rumor was untrue and you just like her as a friend and thats it. This way the situation gets cleared up and she doesn't waste her time pining over you.

Be honest, tell her how you feel. If you like her tell her so. If you don't like her that way, say "I don't know what you heard, but I like being friends with you... I don't really think your my type. " If you don't know, tell her "I don't know." Just be honest! WTVR you say, don't say that crap you wrote above, you sound like a nut case:)

Well try not to hurt her feelings, if you dont like her like that then tell her that you dont like her like that and that you just want to be her friend. but if you can see you together then try to get to know her.
