hmm..... let's see here.... if u want to go a little cheap, just make everyone a card. but then you could also just buy some cheapo stickers and craft stuff from Hobbie lobbie and decorate the cards! everyone gets and gives those in my familly, and no one's complained--yet.

I just found a site with thousands of downloadable woodworking plans, it s really great. You can check it out here ( woodworkingplans.kyma.info ) Here is an honest review : If you want to start a woodworking project, you need all the necessary information, including schematics, blueprints, materials lists, dimensions etc. That is where TedsWoodworking comes in. The plans are clearly drawn and there're step-by-step explainations of how the plan should be done and put together. There are several other sites whose collection of plans have the dimensions totally wrong without any indication of parts lists, material lists or the tools needed. If you're one of those people who have bought plans like this in the past, TedsWoodworking will change your perception. In Ted's Woodworking you will get everything you need: Diagrams which are detailed with a full set of dimensions, step-by-step instructions how to start your project and the necessary materials for that particular project. All the woodworking tools you will need: If you are a beginner or have done some woodworking you will find these plans easy-to-follow as the instructions are very clearly written. The woodworking plans are straightforward so they are not complicated at all. Even if you are a total newcomer to woodworking you will simply be able to master all the techniques that are needed and the woodworking skills very quickly by following the concise and clear instructions. Another thing which is so great about these woodworking plans is that there have been some videos included and there are some to guide you in how to build benches home furniture dog houses bird feeders sheds and much much more. There is also a lifetime member acess included in the package and you get these extras for no cost to you as they are free with no additional charges at all! This alone is worth the entire price for TedsWoodworking. Ted Mcgrath is a very dedicated and experienced woodworker who knows what he is talking about when it comes to woodworking and DIY projects s he has been a woodworker for many many years. There is only one drawback that we could find and that being with 16,000 woodworking plans you are bound to get some which look a little disorganized but that is understandable as it is very difficult to place all these plans into their proper categories. Secondly, it might take you a little longer to do the downloads on because of the size of them. But the members area include an option to upgrade to the DVD so you can save time on downloading. I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars. Here's the bottom line: If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you SHOULD use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Check the site: ( woodworkingplans.kyma.info )

I just started something yesterday that is sooooo cute, sooo cheap and so quick/easy. I was able to make four gifts in an hour.

I bought cheap clipboards at the dollar store. Took a glue stick and rubbed glue all over the top surface of the clipboard. Then I applied scrapbook paper to this area, turned it over and trimmed off the excess. Then I glued trim around the top (around the clip part (so it would clean up the edges), glued on a charm or two and attached some scraps of ribbon through the hole of the clip. That's it. I didn't decoupage it or anything - just used a glue stick, and then Elmer's glue for the ribbon trim - that's it. They look like a million dollars.

I got masculine paper for the men, feminine paper for the women and cute neon paper for the kids.

Then just attach a note pad if you want and maybe a pen.

Hope that helps!

You can't figure this out with the 2 links you put up??????? 1 The animal was NOT chosen by the recipient. 2 There is no guarantee that the animal was even wanted. 3 Pets are a LIFETIME commitment. 4 They can be expensive for the owner. 5. Once the novelty wears off, the poor animals ends up abandoned, abused, or in shelters!!!!!!!! An animal should ONLY be given as a pet, if you are the parent and plan to take OVER care for this pet when your child doesn't feel like it!!!!! Not all kids want to or can be responsible enough to care for a pet...and if you plan to give it to someone else...It's not a good idea if you aren't a 100 % sure of the care, love, and even desire to have a pet!!!!!!!!!

I made picture frames. I got plain wooden ones from the dollar store. With some I painted them with paint from the dollar store (mix the colours to get a good colour) and glued on those glass pebbles and did some spirals with wire and glued it on (all from the dollar store)

With some of the other frames, I drilled holes in the top and bottom so I could attach them together in sets of 3 (one hanging above the other etc) I took brown jute and braided it and used it to attach the frames together. Ribbon would also work. They look great.

I am also making bottle cap magnets and push pins. I went to a U-brew place and bought 120 bottle caps for $4. I downloaded some cute pics from the internet and printed them in the appropriate size on photo paper. I then glued the pics in the bottle caps. I bought some resin at Michael's with a 40% off coupon and poured some in each bottle cap. Next with industrial adhesive I attached magnets or push pins to the back of the caps. They look really cute and I'm assembling them into sets to give as gifts.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/ManualOfWoodworking
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

I do a lot of crafts and I think that a dream catcher is ok for both sexes and all ages and only cost approx. $3.00 to make, I have the instructions on how to make them I will be glad to share with you if you email me for them, also I do mirrors for all ages and occassions by going to a dollar tree and purchasing a good size mirror and then buy some stickers or charms and buttons appropiate for the ages and put their names in middle of mirror and sticking stickers around the rest of mirror or hot glue the charms or buttons on mirror, if using buttons first cut the loop on back off with scissors or wire cutters so the button lays flat you can also glue lace around outside of mirror to decorate it if you want to, just use your imagination and be as creative as you like

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.
