I am able to download youtube videos using Firefox with its videodownloader extension. I know there is an OS X version of Firefox and I assume the extension is available for that version also.

Just let the video completely load and click on the videodownloader icon an there ya go... I just downloaded it... its about 8 megs.

Good Luck

particular, it quite is available. the least confusing thank you to do it relatively is to get a utility like ZillaTube or VideoGet. ZillaTube can save movies from YouTube in basic terms. VideoGet can receive movies from many YouTube clone websites. the two the utility have trial variations.

I use VDownloader
I works for Youtube, Google Video, Grinvi and DailyMotion.

You can google "VDownloader" or download from this link:

Go to youtubex.com and then copy paste the URL in the box and download it. But it saves it as a .flv file so you need to search for a .flv player or try changing the file name to Video.avi or Video.mpg or something. changing the name didn't work for me so I just found a .flv player.
