If you're the British, then you are at war with France all over the world, not just in America. The reason it was the "French & Indian War" was that the French enlisted those savages as allies to attack American (England's) colonies. One trap that you must not fall into is to agree that the Indians were "poor mistreated Native Americans victimised by ooky Europeans." The French were fighting the British and the French goaded the Indians into committing horrible atrocities. In the debate, your "French" opponent will argue, "Well, in war, one must do what one must do." Question for the French: "If you were at war with England, why didn't you fight it out man-to-man with soldiers in your armies as it was in those days? Why did you commit atrocities against civilians?" "You say you did not commit atrocities? You used your Indian proxies to commit the atrocities." I don't know what your two-minute speech is to be. You are England, fighting a war to protect American colonist (civilians) against foreign armies that use savages as allies. Your position in the debate is that you send soldiers to fight to protect your people who are already there.
