I have a friend in high school, but it bothers me that we do not hang out outside of school. One time we made plans, but that didn't happen. I am shy, but I really want us to hang out. How can I ask as to not be embarrassed and what activity should we do?

I am a boy.
One time we planned to see Borat 2gether, but I couldn't get hold of him on his phone, so that didn't happen. What sucks is that there isn't much in terms of movies out that we have interest in seeing. Thanks for all your comments so far though.

find out a movie she likes and then see if she wants to go see it with u after maybe go to the mall and just hang out and talk

When you see your friend in school, say... Hey, you want to hang out some time? I got...... SOME GIRLS!!!! If you want male friends, you have to have a female for them. By the way, what are you a boy or a girl?

well im sure you will know this persons likes and dislikes.
just ask them to go shopping or for something to eat to the pictures! anything
white water rafting, paint balling bungee jumping. mug painting, sorry getting carried away

say something like "hey, wanna watch the new **** movie coming out? I wanna watch it with someone else so i wont be alone"
