As a teacher, I don't care for them. I'm quite busy at school, so don't want to waste a lot of time in the restroom. Therefore, I'm best off not getting too comfortable. I do my business, clean up, and get back to my day.
A good old-fashioned hard seat works just fine for the busy teacher on the go.

oh my! are you in Alaska? everyone here seems to be obsessed with them! some people here even have special warmers to keep it warm. OR, they adjust the mixer valve to make the toilet seat hot all the time. SICK!
me, i prefer a cold seat to sit on.

What faculty restroom have you been in? I've never had one in mine.

I have been teaching for 13 years now and I don't remember anyone ever bringing that question up before and I doubt I will ever hear it brought up again.
